Here’s a thing.Another copy of the Judge Dredd Megazine arrived this week.As in the last issue it had a peice of Alan Grant's and my work in it as chosen by someone as one of their favourite stories.Unlike the last one the text that should have accompanied it is missing. I can tell you that it is from The Jesus Syndrome but not which discriminating artist or writer selected
it.So whoever, thank you.
Thank you too Kev Levell of Cambridge who on the letters page of that
same issue chooses as a 'stand out' for him the page I think of as ‘Bad’ Anderson.Like me at the time I drew it, Kev would like to see the idea contained in the image developed as an alternative reality story, though his take on it
is a little different from mine.I never imagined Anderson doing
anything ‘demonic’ though she has been know to be a little 'devilish'.
Despite working on it during my counselling training ( I was told to learn
how to just say thank you ) in truth I am still surprised and
embarrassed to receive compliments but it is gratifying. It is nice to
have people like what you do.So.Thank you.
As an additional bonus The Mick McMahon Collection came with the Megazine. What a special and original artist. And what an impressive record 2000AD
has in recognising talent and willingness to go for the less obvious
in their choice of art styles.

Hi Arthur,
Thanks for the mention here. I hope the letter helps to track down the original art... and it would be really nice if it lead to that alternate Anderson story being told too...
Thanks again and best regards,
Kev

Hullo Kev,
sorry to intrude on your space but my laptop is playing silly beggers and won't bring up this blog so I can add a comment. I won't presently even be able to see this.
Wanted the original 'Bad' Anderson to get a good scan for a project that will not now happen. Still curious though.
Got very mixed feelings about someone else doing the alternative Anderson in a new strip.
And you are welcome.
Best,
Arthur
